My current load out is this using battleships w/ NL and mega canon. The corvettes and mega canons take out shields before the NLs are in range which then shred anything that moves. 1. A number of the provided designs mix the two types to a large degree, reducing their overall effectiveness. Overall though this is a good guide. 8.Post-patch meta, you need Missiles, Strike Craft and Penetration Weapons (Disruptors, Arc Emitters for the Carriers). Kinetics are pointless except for using ACs to cheese fleetpower. Non-Disruptor energy weapons are pointless. So if anything, the meta has become even narrower.
