The B-14r is supposed to replicate the feel of a centerfire in the same stock. T0rtuga and Loganwayne.Bergara B14 R vs Bxr . ... The B14r is a trainer. The BXR is a 10/22 clone. T0rtuga and Loganwayne.I have a B14R and really enjoy it. It shoots SK Rifle Match, Standard & Long Range sub 1/2" at 50 yards if I'm doing my part. I like the fact it is an identical platform to my Bergara precision rifle. I have been thinking about adding the CZ 457 or the Ruger American Long Range Target as a second rifle.Thanks for the info, yes the Area 419 parts are awesome. Tough decision. Interesting that the Bergara website doesn't seem to use the word match anywhere when talking about the B14r. And it appears to be a full custom job to upgrade the barrel someday. I also like CZ's aluminum chassis for the CZ 457 (although it is nearly impossible to find these days).
