It is a four bolt main and my goal is to convert this block into a 383.max bore 350 chevy. Jump to Latest Follow ... Go 30 over this time and then 10 over for each rebuilt after. If you go 60 over now then when it comes time to rebuild you will be screwed and have to buy a new block. It appears to be a higher nickel block as it has the 010 casted behind the timing chain cover and the back of the block above the crankshaft flywheel flange. Be nice to know what year it was casted.
