As the storm continues to move through our service area, the following advisories were released by the National Weather Service at 7:14 a.m. this morning. The advisories include all counties within our service area.Extremely high winds and heavy rain crashed through our service area during the early morning hours today and have left over 38,000 Amicalola EMC members without power. Outages are being reported in all ten counties served by us, with Gilmer showing approx. 11,700, Pickens 8400, Cherokee 7200, Lumpkin 6600 and the remaining outages widely ...
